Dy.CSVO (Sr) / Dy CSVO.
x) hold conference of the Supervisory Staff every month to hear
their grievances/suggestions and send the minutes to CSVO.
xi) perform night inspection rounds as per the Officers’ duty list
prepared by the C.S.V.O.
xii) attend Gate Meetings and convey the gist immediately on
phone to CSVO / Dy CSOs

VIGILANCE OFFICER
Specific Duties
send Gate Meeting reports containing urgent matters immediately by special messenger to
HO/CSVO.
xiv) send Gate Meeting reports latest by next day noon.
xv) maintain data registers as well as other records upto date.
xvi) conduct departmental enquiries.
xvii) arrange to have National flags hoisted on due dates.
xviii) carry out such other duties as are entrusted to them.
xix) periodically inspect parades each time in different shifts.
In addition to the above general duties VOs shall –
a) verify the reports submitted by Vigilance staff/officers
b) Visit vulnerable places to defect R to C cases.
c) carry out line checking – supervision of Asst. Vigilance
Officers (Traffic) and to check ticketless travelers at Bus stops
near BEST Staff Qrts.
d) submit monthly reports to SVO/Dy.CVO regarding R to C
check carried out by Vigilance Cell.
e) carry out R To C checking personally if required.
f) conduct Confidential/ Departmental enquiries given by
CSVO.
g) deployment of Vigilance Staff and ensure that their services
are gainfully utilized.
