v) draw out programme of training for recruit Security Guards.
vi) draw out programme of Refresher course.
vii) arrange for payment of honorarium to the Officers conducting lectures/training during training
courses/refresher courses
viii) liaison with Police authorities to arrange for Police bandobast for various premises of the
Undertaking during emergencies such as strikes, bandhs and civil disturbances.
5) Maintenance of Law & Order
He shall :
i) provide Security Bandobast at various premises of the Undertaking during social/religious
functions.
ii) arrange Police Bandobast during Morchas/demonstrations, Strike/Bandh and detail Officers
for duty at Head Office.
6) Vigilance :
He shall :
i) ensure that the antecedents of casual labours employed on contract basis are verified.
ii) ensure that Entry passes are issued to Contractors, Cobblers, Laundrers and Barbers, Canteen
staff at various premises of the Undertaking and are checked regularly by the Officers and
Supervisory staff.
iii) issue parking passes to those who are permitted to park their vehicles on the premises of the
Undertaking.
iv) to undertake vigilance work as allocated by the CSVO/ Dy CSVO(Sr).
v) co-ordinate the work of Vigilance Section
vi) also guide the Officers in planning and execution of the raids and Vigilance work.
7. Assistance to other department
He shall :
i) arrange for police bandobast in case of demolition of hutments/encroachments and detail
Officers/Staff for such jobs.
ii) detail officers to accompany Bldg. Dept. staff during the joint inspection of Undertaking’s
plots.
iii) detail officers to accompany Welfare Dept. staff in cases of eviction of unauthorized
occupants.
