of his duty, a Nylon bag together with his Ticket Box in lieu
of his attendance card.
2) At the end of his duty, a Conductor shows his
Ticket Box to Cash Writer for recording Closing Number
along with Valuation of Tickets and receives
acknowledgement on the Attendance Card, which is with
him for having deposited his earnings for the day from
Cash Writer.
B) Ticket Section:
The following main jobs are carried out in this Section:
1) Replacement of Ticket Blocks in the Ticket Boxes.
2) Writing of Ticket Memo and recording all fresh Ticket Blocks
issued in the Box A/c. Files.
3) Extending the same of tickets from the Boxes in Box Account
Files, with the computerized system.
4) Issuing and receiving Ticket boxes and Nylon cash bags to and
from Conductors.
5) Recording closing numbers on the ticket memo.
A Scheme known as ‘Ticket Box with the Conductor’ has been
implemented at all depots. The main features of the scheme are as
under:-
(i) Every Conductor is provided with a locker and a key for
the safe custody of the Ticket Box.
(ii) On the day fixed for the implementation of the Scheme,
Conductors detailed for duty are issued ticket boxes with
the Ticket Memo duly written before proceeding on line.
Conductors acknowledge receipt of the ticket
boxes as the boxes will from thereon remain permanently
in their custody.
(iii) The Conductor records closing numbers on the ticket
memo in ink and presents his ticket box to the Writer on
the Counter for recording the closing numbers in the
Ticket and Cash Records. The Conductor secures the
Ticket Box in the Locker.
