(i) The Heads of branches/ Departments/ Divisions should submit
their recommendations after consulting their senior officers of
the concerned Branch/Department/Division.
2. The proposals for selection of officers upto and inclusive Grade A-3, for training in
foreign countries will be scrutinized and selection will be made by Selection
Committee under the Chairmanship of the Addl. General Manager supported by the
Deputy General Manager (A) and the concerned Head/s of Branches/
Departments/Division/s. Similarly, proposals for selection of officers in Grade A-2
and above for training in foreign country/countries will be scrutinized and the
selection will be made by the Selection Committee under the Chairmanship of the
General Manager supported by the Addl. General Manager, Deputy General
Manager(A) and the concerned Head/s of Branch/es/Department/s/ Division/s.
3) The existing Service Regulation No.5.6 relating to the Service Bond to be executed
by the Trainee Officer is proposed to be suitably amended and the Heads of
Branches/Divisions will be informed of the same in due course.
5.11.2 PAYMENT OF DEPUTATION AND DAILY ALLOWANCE:
Employee/officers deputed for training, seminars, meetings or other
Undertaking; work are paid allowances as detailed elaborately in S.R.
5.6.
When certifying the payments the following points are verified:
a) the category in which the staff is to be included for arriving at
amount of allowance eligible;
b) the fare and its percentage and mode of travel;
c) the date of departure from Mumbai and arrival at destination;
d) the date of departure from place of deputation and arrival at
Mumbai;
e) the number of days of travel and stay at place of deputation;
