For the purpose of organizing training and practicing as well
as actual participation in the sporting events concerned or
any activities connected with arts and for such rest or
recuperation thereafter as may be necessary, and provided
for in the Constitution and Rules of the BEST Arts & Sports
Club;
(b)The grant of leave as aforesaid where it is for a purpose
mentioned in S.R. 4.4.8 (i) (a) & (i) (b) above, shall be on
full pay & allowances for a total period of 60 days
cumulatively or at a stretch on any one occasion in any
individual case in exceptional circumstances.
(c)The grant of leave in excess of the limits laid down above is
at the discretion of the G.M/committee and debited to the
P.L. account of the member of staff.
(d)This leave is counts for accrual of leave of all types and for
increments in the substantive post the individual holds.
(e)To cover a period of absence due to injury or other physical
disability sustained while organizing, training, practicing or
actually participating in such sporting event or activity
connected with arts, such leave may not exceed 60 days on
any one occasion inclusive of any sports leave granted on
that occasion under S.R. 4.4.8 (i) (a) & (b) and on
recommendations of the medical officer of the Undertaking
or on production of a medical certificate signed by a
Registered medical practitioner.
(f)In case of Officers sustaining injury arising out of their
participation in their activities organized / approved by the
Best Arts & Sports Club. They may be granted Accident
Leave under S.R. 4.4.5 (vi) after exhausting of 60 days
sports leave under S.R. 4.3.8.
