Functioning of the Department in respect of Guest House :
1. Appointment of Caretaker-cum-cook :
a) Caretaker cum cook at Walkeshwar and Meher Mansion
Guest Houses are appointed by inviting tenders
through public advertisements in local newspapers.
b) Tenders/bidding invited on the monthly compensation
payment to the Caretaker-cum-Cook.
c) Contract for Caretaker-cum-Cook is awarded to the
lowest quotation of monthly compensation payment
submitted by the tenderer/bidder. The said contract is
for one year period. Security Deposit (interest free) is
obtained from the successful tenderer. Thereafter a
contract is renewed by increasing 5% monthly
compensation and Security Deposit (interest free) for
further period after one year.
2. Job Profile of Caretaker-cum-Cook
a) Caretaker-cum-Cook is available round the clock i.e. 24
hours in the Guest Houses.
b) After receiving intimation about guest from G.M. Office
he arranges beds, snacks, lunch, dinner for the guests.
Washing of linens, bedsheets, covers, cleaning,
sweeping of guest houses is his responsibility.
