purchase order was in process. Incase of other
departments like Welfare, Audit etc. the material was
received but actual expenditure was not booked
during the year.
iii) Provision of Rs. 60.00 lakhs was made towards
installation of computerized Time Attendance System
at 5 Time Keeping Divisions. However, the Scheme
has been implemented only at Dadar Division and is
in progress at Wadala Division. Therefore, the
expenditure booked is of Rs. 7.80 Lakhs.
iv) A provision of Rs. 2 lakhs was made for replacement
of Bursting Machine for the use of EDP Dept. for the
year 2004-2005 (Revised) for which management
sanction is obtained and procurement action is under
process.
v) Under Tools and Equipment provision of Rs. 20.80
lakhs was made. However, material, worth Rs. 10.80
lakhs was received but not accounted and diesel fork
lift truck worth Rs. 10 lakhs was deferred.
vi) Under In-House Computer system and UPS system,
out of total provision of Rs. 56 lakhs actual
expenditure of Rs. 2.57 lakhs is incurred. The main
reason for the same is that expenditure for computer
material of Rs. 21.00 lakhs is already incurred but
not booked in 2004-2005.
vii) 110 KV receiving Sub-Stations (Backbay
Reclamation) – Provision of Rs. 830 lakhs was made
in 2004-2005 (Revised). However, due to delay in
finalizing tender for 145 KV GIS even though tender
was opened in May 2003 order was placed in June
2004. LC was opened in November 2004 and delivery
period is 9 months from opening of LC. Hence,
