Whenever a notice is received from the Co-operative
Court under Co-operative Societies Act, it shall be put
up to ALA who shall collect the information from the
concerned department such as Cash Department,
Mechanized Accounting Department and draft reply shall
be approved by the AGM(L). ALA shall attend the matter
in the Co-operative Court and defend the Undertaking’s
stand and interest.
e) Transport Commissioner :
Queries/disputes are sometimes raised by Regional
Transport Office under Motor Vehicles Act, Motor
Vehicles Tax Act and the matters are taken up to
Transport Commissioner by RTO of the Undertaking.
On receipt of such notices from Transport
Commissioner or instruction from concerned department
of the Undertaking to file application to Transport
Commissioner, LA, Dy.LA or ALA shall get the necessary
information, documents comments from the concerned
department and shall prepare our reply/application for
filing before the Transport Commissioner.
LA, Dy.LA, ALA shall attend the matter before the
Commissioner and in case of appeal in the matter they
shall represent the Undertaking before the Secretary
Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
f) Charity Commissioner:
Dispute relating to properties covered under the
Bombay Public Trust Act are heard by the Charity
