d) Subscription / Magazine Register :- Various subscriptions procured by the
department for the use of G.M., Addl. G.M. and other heads of branches are
recorded in the register and sent to the concerned department. This also include
weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quartly magazines procured for various Heads of
branches.
e) Complimentary Magazine Register : - Some organisations, publishers sent
complimentary magazines to the Undertaking, which are recorded in the register
and sent to the concern department.
Clerk Table No. 5 (Enquiry Counter) :-
To accept the letters of Consumers, Commercial, Materials Management and other
departments, G.M.'s, Addl. G.M., Chairman's or other letters and immediately send to the
concerned departments. He has to answer the queries of Consumers and other telephonic
inquiries.
Allocation and duties of the Sepoys in the Correspondence Department :
Correspondence Dept.
At present there are 8 Jamadars & 24 Sepoys working in Correspondence (South) Dept.
at. Colaba whereas 5 Sepoys are working in Correspondence (North) Dept. at Dadar.
Allocation of Sepoys
1. GM's Chamber & Office - 1 Jamadar + 3 Sepoys
2. Addl. GM's Chamber & Office - 1 Jamadar + 1 Sepoy
3. Chairman / Committee Members - 1 Jamadar + 2 Sepoys
4. Secretary/Dy. Secy. Office - 1 Sepoy
5. Personnel Department - 1 Jamadar
