Cash Vouchers payable at Dadar are sent to our Cash Department ( North) and Cash
Voucher pertaining to payment at Depots are sent to STC.
Whenever Employees approach Counter NO.4 the identity of employee is confirmed
from Identification Note and Identity Card cum Bus Token/Bus Pass and then payment
is made to them. After pasting the Identification Note and writing I/C Cum Bus Token
No. on the cash voucher and obtaining their signatures on vouchers for having received
the payments.
Similarly we receive LTA/Encashment Bills from EDP Department. Employees working
at H.O. are paid their LTA Bills from Counter NO.4 and Employees whose Encashment
is more than Rs. 10,000/- irrespective of their place of work/depot are paid at Counter
No.4 at Colaba. Payment below Rs. 10,000/- payment is made at Depot by STC.
After making payment to employees all paid cash vouchers are listed and cash is tallied
on day-to-day basis. These paid bills alongwith summary sheets are sent to cash audit
for necessary verification.
Cancellation of LTA/Encashment Bills :
Whenever any employee makes an application for cancellation of his
LTA/Encashment for any reason whatsoever, we cancel such bills by preparing
necessary advice and route the same through audit.
Cancellation of Pretty Cash Vouchers :-
1. Dismissal
2. Death
3. Reinstatement in Service
4. Cancellation of Deputation
For cancellation of Petty Cash Vouchers we receive departmental letter/note stating the
reason for cancellation from concerned Department. After receiving such note, advice is
prepared and copy of such advice is sent to :-
