5 a.
The Divisional Officer/Duty Officer on arrival shall;
make himself conversant with the facts of the case;
report the matter to Police if the assault has resulted in serious injuries and/or
any person has been hospitalized;
visit the injured person in the Hospital and collect information regarding
nature of injuries/seriousness of case;
inform the Head of the Departments concerned. If serious injuries are caused
CSVO/Traffic Control shall also be informed;
Record the statements of Security staff, witnesses and the persons
involved;
b. Verify action taken by the Police and put up report so as to reach CSVO
as early as possible.
3 – (A) If the assault is between the outsiders/and employees :
All actions same as above except that in such cases Traffic Control/Divisional
Officer/Duty Officer as also the local Police Stations shall be informed immediately.
The Divisional Officer/Duty Officer, in his absence, the SI/ ASI/ Havaldar shall
accompany the S/Guard who had witnessed the assault, to the Police Station.
Particulars such as C.R. No., Sections of Indian Penal Code (I.P.C.) under
which the party/parties are charged, the name of the Police Officer In-charge of the case
and action taken by the Police shall be noted. Statements of Security staff, witnesses and
parties involved shall be recorded and report submitted immediately.
3 – (B) If there is assault by outsiders after committing tress-pass by forcing entry
with vehicle, the S/Guard at the gates shall;
Follow the same procedure except that –
All gates shall be closed immediately and one of them shall remove the ignition
key from vehicle to bar the means of escape.

Handling of drunk employees – procedure -
When the drunk employee is off duty -
i) Such employee shall be turned out of the Depot premises;
ii)

If rowdy, his particulars shall be noted and report submitted;
If assaults/man-handles, matters shall be immediately reported to the
