district champion in the 3200 meters and earned all-district honors three<br />
times. She earned all-district honors twice in the 1600 meters. She was<br />
a three-time regional qualifier in both the 1600 and 3200 meters. She<br />
notched a regional championship in both the 1600 and 3200 meters in<br />
2010. She was the regional runner-up in both events in 2008. Personal:<br />
Lindsay is the daughter of Mark and Ginger Lindsay and is studying<br />
Sociology. She is also a member of the Javelina cross country team.<br />

track meet. She was a member of the<br />

Lopez is the daughter of Jorge and Manuela Lopez and is studying<br />

High School: Nelson was a sprinter at<br />
Orange Grove High School. She was<br />
a three-time District 31-3A champion<br />
in the 100-meter dash and has a top<br />
time of 12.06. She also won the district<br />
championship in the 400-meter dash as<br />
a senior in a time of 60.73. She owns<br />
the school record in the 100 meters and as part of the 4x400 relay team.<br />
As a volleyball player, she earned Third Team All-South <strong>Texas</strong>, Academic<br />
All-State and District Most Valuable Player honors. She was a Presidential<br />
Academic Achievement scholar. Personal: Nelson is the daugher of<br />
Shane and Shannon Nelson and is studying Kinesiology with a minor in<br />
English. Her father played football at Baylor and for the Buffalo Bills.<br />
