champion and qualified for the state meet in the 300-meter hurdles. He<br />

was part of a school-record setting 4x200-meter relay team. He was<br />

a four-time regional qualifier in track and two-time regional qualifier in<br />

cross country. He was a part of a district championship cross country<br />

team. He was first team and academic all-district in basketball and<br />

competed in the USA Junior Nationals. He is an Eagle Scout and was<br />

mentioned in Who’s Who Among High School Seniors. Personal: Prado<br />

is the son of Isidore and Gracie Prado and is studying Pre-Physical<br />

Therapy. He is a member of the Javelina cross country team.<br />

as part of the 4x100-meter relay team<br />

that finished fifth in the nation. He was<br />

team after earning 18 points at the<br />

conference meet. He earned all-South<br />

Central Region honors in the 100 meters<br />

and 4x100 relay. He was named the LSC <strong>Track</strong> Athlete of the Week<br />

on March 24 and April 23. He is ranked #4 all-time in the 200 meters,<br />

#6 in the 100 meters and #3 in the 4x100-meter relay. 100 (10.29); 200<br />

(20.92). High School: Price was a three-year letterwinner in football<br />

and four-time winner in track at Carroll HS. He earned all-South <strong>Texas</strong>,<br />

all-Metro and second team all-state honors at wide receiver. He earned<br />

all-state honors in track and was a district and regional champion in<br />

the 200-meter dash. He holds the school record in the 200 meters with<br />

a time of 21.26. Personal: Price is the son of Thomas Sullivan and is<br />

studying Kinesiology. He is related to Javelina Hall of Fame member<br />

Ernest Price and is the cousin of former Javelina track All-American<br />

competed in track and football at Victoria<br />

Memorial HS. He holds the school<br />

and city record in the pole vault. he was<br />

a three-time regional qualifier, a state qualifier and two-time all-Area<br />

honoree. Personal: Riedesel is the son of Lloyd and Yvonne Riedesel<br />

and is undecided on his field of study.<br />

2011: Rios earned All-American honors<br />

in the 400-meter hurdles after a fifth<br />

place finish. He was named to the<br />

all-Lone Star Conference squad after<br />

taking second in the 400 hurdles and<br />

running a leg on the winning 4x400meter<br />

relay. He was tabbed for all-South<br />

Central Region honors in the both the 400 hurdles and 4x400 relay. During<br />

the indoor season, he earned all-region honors in the 4x400 relay.<br />

During the regular season he ran a 52.12 at the <strong>Texas</strong> Relays to take<br />

second place in the college division and earn LSC Runner of the Week<br />

honors. Earlier in the season he was named the LSC Runner of the<br />

Week after winning the 400 hurdles at the LSU Relays, his fourth straight<br />

victory of the season. He is ranked #5 all-time in the 400 hurdles and #8<br />

in the 4x400-meter relay. Indoor 400 (51.39); 200 (24.71); 400 (49.30);<br />

400 Hurdles (51.97). 2010: Rios earned all-LSC honors as a freshmanby<br />

winning the LSC title in the 400 hurdles (52.74) and advancing to the<br />

national meet. Indoor 400 (50.97); 400 Hurdles (52.47). High School:<br />

Rios set the school record in the 300-meter hurdles at James Pace<br />

HS. He holds the Sams Stadium record in the 300-hurdles and was a<br />

regional and state qualifier in the event. He also played on a playoff<br />

football team as a senior. Personal: Rios is the son of Mario and Maria<br />

Rios and is studying Computer Information Systems.
