played football and track at Cuero HS.<br />

In track, he was a member of two <strong>Texas</strong><br />

3A state championship teams. He had<br />

personal bests of 6-8 in the high jump<br />

and 23-2 in the long jump. He was also<br />

a member of the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400-meter relay teams. Armstrong<br />

played both wide receiver and corner back for the Gobblers. He earned<br />

3A all-state honors at both positions while also earning First Team alldistrict,<br />

all-area and all-region honors. He made 63 catches for 1,028<br />

yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior. He led Cuero to back-to-back<br />

state semi-final appearances. He was an academic all-district selection.<br />

Personal: Armstrong is the son of Deborah Armstrong and is studying<br />

Kinesiology with a minor in Business. He is also a member of the<br />

was a three-time Regional qualifier in<br />

track and two-time Regional qualifier in<br />

cross country. He was the most valuable player on the cross country and<br />

track teams at H.M. King HS. Personal: Arredondo is the son of Alde<br />

Arredondo and Esther Vela and is studying Human Nutrition. He is also<br />

on the Javelina cross country team.<br />

was an all-district performer in the<br />

4x400 meter relay and was second in the district in 400 meters. He had<br />

personal bests of a 50.2 in the 400 meters and 22.8 in the 200 meters.<br />

Personal: Brooks is the son of Tina Brooks and is studying Education<br />

with a minor in Health.<br />

at <strong>Texas</strong> A&M-<strong>Kingsville</strong>. High School:<br />

Busker competed in cross country,<br />

basketball and track at Incarnate Word<br />

Academy. He earned TAPPS all-state<br />

cross country honors twice and was a<br />

part of three state championship teams. He earned all-South <strong>Texas</strong> and<br />

all-state honors in basketball while leading the team to four straight playoff<br />

appearances. In track he was a member of a school record 4x400meter<br />

relay team en route to earning all-South <strong>Texas</strong> honors. He was<br />

named the Homecoming King and Most Athletic of his senior class. He<br />

was the recipient of the Caspar Wenzel Athletic Scholarship. Personal:<br />

Busker is the son of Mark and Annie Busker and is studying Mechanical<br />

Engineering.
