Texas A&M-Kingsville Track & Field A m b e r P e r r y Sprints Freshman • 5-6 • HS Goliad, TX Goliad HS High School: Perry was a sprinter at Goliad High School. She won the 400-meter dash State 3A titles in 2010 and 2011 with a top time of 55.65. She has a personal best of 25.22 in the 200 meters and 17-11.25 in the long jump. She turned down an offer from University of Nebraska. She also played volleyball and basketball. Personal: Perry is the daughter of Delores Jones and is studying Biomedical Science. A m y R a b a l a i s Multi Junior • 5-6 • 2L Sandia, TX George West HS 2011: Rabalais is ranked #3 all-time in the pole vault and #7 in the javelin in school history. Indoor Pole Vault (10-8.75); Pole Vault (11-1.75); Javelin (120-2). 2010: Pole Vault (11-2.25); Javelin (121-3). High School: Rabalais competed in volleyball, basketball and track at George West HS. She was a four-time regional qualifier. She finished second in the state in the pole vault as a senior. She won first place in the Heptathlon in San Antonio. Personal: Rabalais is the daughter of Kenneth and Cindy Rabalais and is studying Kinesiology and a minor in Special Education. A m b e r R a m i r e z Pole Vault/Sprints Freshman • 5-6 • HS Shiner, TX Shiner HS High School: Ramirez played three sports at Shiner High School. She earned first team all-state and academic all-state honors in both softball and track as a senior. She was an academic all-state winner in basketball. She played on a pair of Softball State Championship teams in 2008 and 2011. She finished sixth in the the 200 meters at the state meet as a senior. She earned silver medals at the state meet in 2009 and 2010 as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team. Her 4x200-meter relay team took third in the state in 2010. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a threetime regional qualifier in cross country. She was part of four straight track & field district championship teams. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Personal: Richburg is the daughter of Michael and Janice Richburg and is studying Education. High School: Roy competed in cross country and track at Palacios HS. She earned first team all-district honors and was a two-time regional qualifier in cross country. She was the cross country most valuable player for two years and most valuable player on the track team for four years. She was a State qualifier in the 800 meters as a junior and a four-time regional qualifier in track. She was a member of Student Council, TAFE, Drama club and was voted the most athletic of her class. Personal: Roy is the daughter of Thurman and Lois Roy and is studying Psychology with a minor in Communications. Her sister, Sheronda Williams, ran track at Angelo State. She also is a member of the Javelina cross country team. B r i t t a n y S t a f f o r d Sprints Junior • 5-6 • 2L Victoria, TX Memorial HS 2011: Stafford is ranked #4 all-time in the 400 meters and #8 in the 200 meters. Indoor 200 (26.06); Indoor 400 (59.79); 200 (24.83); 400 (56.80); 2010: Indoor 60 (8.11); Indoor 200 (26.87); 100 (12.94); 200 (25.39); 400 (1:01.49). High School: Stafford competed in volleyball and track at Victoria Memorial HS. She earned all-district honors in both sports. She was a four-time regional qualifier and a part of three district championship teams. She earned academic all-district honors and was the Prom Queen. Personal: Stafford is the daughter of Harvey Stafford and Elizabeth Hayes and is studying Biomedical Sciences.

High School: Trevino was a state qualifier in the 400 meters while competing for Rio Grande City HS. Personal: Trevino is the daughter of Claudio and Maria Trevino and is studying Communication Speech R o w e n a T r e v i n o Distance Junior • 5-6 • 1L San Diego, TX San Diego HS 2011: Indoor 800 (2:38.00); Indoor Mile (5:58.96); 800 (2:44.51); 1500 (5:32.61); 5,000 (20:43.66); 10,000 (20:43.66). 2010: 1500 (5:38.86). 2009: Trevino red-shirted her first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville. High School: Treviño competed in cross country, basketball, and track at San Diego HS. She was regional qualifier for four years and state qualifier in the 3200-meter run as a senior. She earned all-district honors in cross country as a freshman and a senior. She set the school record in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs. She was a member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Treviño is the daughter of Carlos and Ruth Treviño and is studying Kinesiology. She is also a member of the Javelina cross country team. B r i a n a V i l l a r r e a l Distance Sophomore • 5-3 • 1L La Feria, TX La Feria HS 2011: Villarreal is ranked #10 all-time in the 1500 meters. Indoor 800 (2:31.60); Indoor 1000 (3:16.16); Indoor Mile (5:40.71); 800 (2:24.94); 1500 (4:58.53); 5,000 (20:14.33). High School: Villarreal ran on the cross country and track teams at La Feria HS. As a senior, she helped lead the cross country team to district and regional championships en route to a state meet appearance. The track team also won the district championship her senior year. She was part of four regional qualifying cross country teams in her career. She was a regional qualifier in track in the long jump, 400 meters, 800 meters and mile relay during her four seasons. She was the Homecoming Queen and Miss La Feria High School. Personal: Villarreal is the daughter of Tommy and Letty Villarreal and is studying Communication and Speech Disorders. She is also a member of the Javelina cross country team. P o r s c h e a W i l s o n Sprints/Jumps Freshman • 5-5 • HS Round Rock, TX Round Rock HS High School: Wilson was a sprinterjumper for Round Rock High School. She finished sixth in the Region II-5A 100-meter hurdles in 2011 with a time of 14.93 and has a top time of 14.77. She has posted a top mark of 12.44 in the 100 meters and over 17 feet in the long jump. Personal: Wilson is the daughter of Cedric Wilson and Latecia Earl and is studying Education with a minor in Social Work. A s h l e y Z a m o r a Javelin Senior • 5-10 • HS San Juan, TX PSJA HS Previous: Zamora played three seasons of softball for the Javelinas. High School: Zamora was a highly decorated catcher and third baseman for the PSJA High School softball team. She also was a member of the basketball and track teams. She was a Distinguished Achievement Plan Graduate.
