Major Events in HTC’s History
1997 HTC established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with initial
capital of NT$5 million. Main products and business
comprise vacuum design, MFC manufacture and sales
and successful development of Taiwan's first digital
vacuum gauge.
2001 (May) - HTC International Trading Company (Shanghai)
established in Shanghai's Waigaoqiao bonded zone.
A maintenance center, warehouse and office are also
set up.
2002 HTC International Trading Company (Shanghai)
officially commences business. In January 2003, the
maintenance service is expanded to provide cleaning
service for equipment and components under
warranty.
SII EDS product line imported by Japan's software
service sector.
2003 Construction of a new factory begins in the Hukou
industrial zone. Total area: 800 ping. Factory begins
preliminary operations in June 2004, with normal
operations beginning in November 2004.

2004 Expansion of Hsinchu factory with addition of
complete turbo pump, dry pump, cryo pump and gate
valve maintenance lines and maintenance teams. In
the same year, HTC Shanghai moves office to the
Baoshan industrial zone and announces plans to build
a new factory for production of vacuum components
and for provision of pump maintenance and cleaning
services to the semiconductor and opto-electronic
industries.
2008 Construction of the Baoshan factory is completed.
2008 Successful development of solar cell continuous-type

Vacuum Components and Coating Equipment Business
Located in Shangha's Baoshan district, the factory is primarily
engaged in manufacturing vacuum coating and film equipment
systems, RFID chip direct attachment technology and
the manufacture of vacuum chambers and components. The
factory also makes vacuum products for industries including
semiconductors, 3C electronics, LED lighting, conductive
films, automotive parts and solar energy. These products can
be customized to meet a client's special requirements.
Vacuum Components Production
HTC's factories operate with strict safety controls to produce
a full range of vacuum components. Main products are
flanges, fittings, adaptors, valves, metal bellows, vacuum
pumps and gate valves.
Custom-designed Vacuum Chambers
