IN CATTLE:
Gastrointestinal roundworms, false bruising (Parafilaria bovicola), eye worm (Thelazia) and lungworms
IN BEESTE:
Gastro-intestinale rondewurms, vals kneusing (Parafilaria bovicola), oogwurm (Thelazia) en longwurms
CAUTION/VERSIGTIG
Store below 30 °C. Protect from light. Berg benede 30 °C. Beskerm teen lig.
COMPOSITION/SAMESTELLING:
Each ml contains Ivermectin 10,0 mg
Elke ml bevat Ivermektien 10,0 mg

WARNINGS:
Not to be administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
Do not slaughter cattle and sheep for human consumption within 28 days of last treatment.
Not for use in lactating cattle or sheep where milk or milk products are intended for human consumption.
Not for use in dairy cattle within 28 days before calving where milk and milk products are used for human consumption.
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety
of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the
registration holder.
WAARSKUWINGS:

Nie vir gebruik in lakterende beeste of skape waar melk of melkprodukte vir menslike gebruik bedoel is nie. Nie vir gebruik in lakterende
koeie binne 28 dae voordat hulle kalf en waar melk en melkprodukte vir menslike gebruik bedoel is nie. Hou buite bereik van kinders,
oningeligte persone en diere. Alhoewel hierdie middel breedvoerig onder ‘n wye verskeidenheid van toestande getoets is, mag dit faal as
gevolg van verskeie redes. Indien dit vermoed word, raadpleeg ’n veearts en verwittig die registrasiehouer.
PRECAUTIONS:
Do not drink, smoke or eat while handling the product. Wash hands after use.
Protect the product from light. The product is toxic to aquatic organisms.
Do not re-use empty bottles. It is strongly recommended that cattle are vaccinated against clostridial infections (e.g. black quarter) before
treatment. Sheep should be vaccinated against pulpy kidney before treatment.
Occasional and transient swelling can occur at site of injection.
VOORSORGMAATREËLS:

ingeënt word. Skape behoort voor behandeling teen bloednier ingeënt te word. Soms kan ’n tydelike swelling by die plek van inspuiting
voorkom.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Use only as directed.
Due to the persistent ivermectin concentrations in the serum, a single application of Baymec ® is sufficient to prevent the effects of a
parasitic infestation on the host for a period, in accordance to the table below and with the type of parasite e.g. Ostertagia ostertagi,
Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia spp.
GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS:
Gebruik slegs soos aangedui.
Vanweë die langdurige konsentrasies van ivermektien in die serum is ’n enkele toediening van Baymec ® voldoende om die effekte
van ’n parasitiese infestasie op die gasheer vir periodes soos in die tabel hier onder en vir die tipe parasiet, bv. Ostertagia ostertagi,
Trinchostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia spp., te voorkom.

DOSAGE: Cattle: Inject subcutaneously at the recommended dosage level of 200 µg ivermectin/kg of body mass. Each ml contains 10 mg
of ivermectin sufficient to treat 50 kg of body mass.
Sheep: Inject subcutaneously at the recommended dosage level of 200 µg ivermectin/kg of body mass. Each half ml (0,5 ml) contains 5 mg
of ivermectin, sufficient to treat 25 kg of body mass.
Under certain conditions, two treatments 14 days apart may be required for complete resolution of sheep scab infections.
DOSIS: Beeste: Spuit onderhuids teen die aanbevole dosisvlak van 200 µg ivermektien/kg liggaamsmassa in. Elke ml bevat 10 mg
ivermektien voldoende om 50 kg liggaamsmassa te behandel.
Skape: Spuit onderhuids teen die aanbevole dosisvlak van 200 µg ivermektien/kg liggaamsmassa in. Elke halwe ml (0,5 ml) bevat 5 mg
ivermektien voldoende om 25 kg liggaamsmassa te behandel.
Onder sekere omstandighede mag twee behandelings, 14 dae uitmekaar, vereis word vir die volledige resolusie van brandsiekte by skape
infeksies.
