The younger Wouters had been

the wedding Thursday of their
son Robert Craig, to Sylvia Larue
Davidson of Elmira. Mr. Reese's
mother, Mrs. William Reese of
Pittsburgh, Pa. and his sister,
Mrs. James C Dawes of Martin's
Ferry, Ohio, were with them as
were Mrs. Reese's mother, Mrs.
William McGahan and Mrs. James
L. O'Neill of Short Hills.

surprise dinner party for Mrs.
Cliff's, father, Rev. Conrad Bluhm
of Inrington. The occasion was
Rev. Bluhm's SOth birthday. The
guests included Rev. Bluhm's
daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Home of
Newton, N. J. and her daughter,
Nancy Jeanne; his sons, Henry
Bluhm of Scotch Plains and Mr.
and Mrs. George Bluhm of M!aplewood
with their son, Conrad;
also Mrs. William Cliff, Sr., and
Bill, Charlotte and Mary Kathryn
of Millburn. The party was held
at the Condor. Rev. Bluhm was
former pastor of the Prospect
Street Presbyterian Church of
Maple wood.

annual luncheon honoring Mrs.
Norton H. Pearl, National President,
at the Essex House, Newark,
on Monday, May 12th. Nine hundred

attended.

Weds Elmira Girl
The marriage of Sylvia Larue
Davidson, daughter of Dr. and
Mrs. Arthur Davidson of Elmira,
N. Y. to Robert Craig Reese, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Reese
of Inwood road, Short Hills, took
place Thursday, May g, at the
South Presbyterian Church of
Elmira, N. Y. The double ring
ceremony was performed by Rev.
John F. Bellville of the First
Church of Christ and a reception
was held at the home of the
bride's parents.
The bride's gown was of princess
styled taffeta with an illusion
off the shoulder neckline of
lace. Her fingertip veil hung from
a Juliet cap, and she carried
white roses and sweet peas. Miss
Lois Schoonover as maid of
honok 1 was gowned in aqua dotted
swiss and the other attendants,
Miss Caroline Smith and
Mrs, William Smith of Elmira,
wore similar gowns of orchid. They
carried bouquets of Spring flowers.
Mr. Robert Reese acted as his
son's best man, and James Davidson,
brother of the bride, and
Benjamin Peterson of Ithaca,
formerly of Short Hills, were
ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Elmira
High School and Mr. Reese
a graduate of Millburn High
School, will graduate in June
from Cornell. He served three
years with the Navy, and is Ensign,
U.SJST.R.
After a wedding trip the coupl*
will make their home after June,
in Barberton, Ohio, where Mr.
Reese will be employed with Babcock
and Wilcox.

Ends Club Year
The Woman's Club of Millburn
will close the club year with a
May Breakfast on Wednesday at
12:30 p. m., at The Brook in Summit.

of reservations and arrangements,
urges members not to miss this
outstanding event of the year and
to being guests and friends. Reservations
close Friday, May 16.

Springfield Chapter of Hadassah

officers elected for the following
term.
