Interior Highlight
Dutch company KEUNE recently launched its Hair Studio in Tbilisi.
Studio interior was designed by architects Archil Kurdiani and David Slovinski.
Individuality of the public space is accentuated by characteristic details.
Unexpected design touches add lightness and create convenient planning,
which stresses the high quality of interior design. Original sequence of furniture,
decorations and accessories, created by the authors, highlight the
modern, comfortable look and feel of the space.
One of the most important tools the designers used for stylistic solution
of the interior is the palette of color tones. Their gradation makes the
space more comfortable, provides efficient background to every object and
highlights its shape. Another important factor in the design of this interior
is lighting. The designers used semitransparent white Corian with led diode
background lighting for wall facing, and night darkness together with artificial
lighting add up to form fascinating volumes, in which every compositional
feature stands out.
Especially interesting is the design of overhead lighting: it repeats the
shape of KEUNE logo. Originality of d?cor catches the eye, and varying
intensity of artificial lighting highlights the depth of form and color. According
to KEUNE's owner and President Georg Keune, company logo has been
first used in design with such intensity in Georgia.
