Interior Highlight<br />
Dutch company KEUNE recently launched its Hair Studio in Tbilisi.<br />
Studio interior was designed by architects Archil Kurdiani and David Slovinski.<br />
Individuality of the public space is accentuated by characteristic details.<br />
Unexpected design touches add lightness and create convenient planning,<br />
which stresses the high quality of interior design. Original sequence of furniture,<br />
decorations and accessories, created by the authors, highlight the<br />
modern, comfortable look and feel of the space.<br />
One of the most important tools the designers used for stylistic solution<br />
of the interior is the palette of color tones. Their gra<strong>da</strong>tion makes the<br />
space more comfortable, provides efficient background to every object and<br />
highlights its shape. Another important factor in the design of this interior<br />
is lighting. The designers used semitransparent white Corian with led diode<br />
background lighting for wall facing, and night <strong>da</strong>rkness together with artificial<br />
lighting add up to form fascinating volumes, in which every compositional<br />
feature stands out.<br />
Especially interesting is the design of overhead lighting: it repeats the<br />
shape of KEUNE logo. Originality of d?cor catches the eye, and varying<br />
intensity of artificial lighting highlights the depth of form and color. According<br />
to KEUNE's owner and President Georg Keune, company logo has been<br />
first used in design with such intensity in Georgia.<br />
