To provide acoustic absorption, walls and ceilings of the rooms were insulated with 10 cm
layers of glass wool and plaster slabs; existing glass units were reinforced with additional aluminum
window panes; special sound absorbing carpets were laid on the floor. To air the rooms
without having to open the windows (i.e. to avoid penetration of noise from outside), the facility
was provided with a centralized ventilation system. Likewise the light fixtures were selected so
as to maximally match the requirements of studio lighting.
Part of the furniture was delivered from Germany and Italy; part of it was custom-made in
Tbilisi. Coffee tables, cafe poufs, kitchen table top and part of shelve sets were made of Corian
stone, corner humpties and kitchen furniture - of painted MDF. Movable partitions were insulated
with special acoustic plaster slabs.
Light and intensive colors prevailing in interior design make the space more lively and diverse.
