Nikoloz Japaridze was born (1974) in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied architecture at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. He then graduated from Moscow
Architecture Institute (1997). PhD "Minimal Dwelling for Extreme Situations". He also studied at the technical university in Delft, Netherlands, and in Paris
before opening his own architectural studio in Moscow in 2002. His Moscow studio was called amc (architecture, music, cinematography) and it produced
over twenty building projects and collaborations. In 2006, he moved to London where he has worked with two UK-based architecture companies: KPF
(Park City, Moscow Development project); EPR Architects (Poole Quayside Housing Development project).
Recently, he was Senior Architect at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture OMA in Rotterdam with specific focus on these projects: highrise residential
towers and a new masterplan in Dubai UAE; and "Zayed Stadium Renovation" Competition in Abu-Dhabi UAE.
He is currently a principal of Architects of Invention in Tbilisi.
Architects of Invention
Architects of Invention (AI) is a partnership practicing
contemporary architecture, urbanism and cultural
analysis in Georgia and in the world. The office
is led by three partners and employs a staff of twelve.
To accommodate a range of projects throughout
urban and rural areas of the countries, AI maintains
offices in Oxfrod and Tbilisi.
Architects, researchers, designers, model makers
and graphic designers work in close collaboration,
and expert consultants are intimately involved from
the beginning of the design process.

George Sakvarelidze was born (1980) in Tbilisi, Georgia. He obtained Master of Architecture at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (2006).
In 2003, he found studio Rooms specialising in interior and furniture design.
He has worked with architecture companies: AG Partners (Grato City, Texx Group Development Project);
Center Point Group (CP Headquarters project).
His major work is rehabilitation and renovation of famous building “Ministry of Roads” (present Bank of Georgia Headquarters).
He is currently a principal of Architects of Invention in Tbilisi.
