The Bureau of Market Research (University of South Africa), regularly
compiles detailed reports on regional and national population
estimates (see the bibliographic database).
The Tongaat-Hulett Planning Forum produced three core reports on
planning in the Durban Functional Region*. The reports are a
valuable source of information. A brief overview can be found in
