Huron Technical Reference
The Huron technical reference section contains information
concerning the technical specifications of the Huron and
information to aid users in the correct use of signals and data
formats with the Huron system. The following sub-sections are
covered:
• Data Formats and Scaling, which discusses the format of
data used in the Huron system, and the most effective way to
scale signal files to obtain the best performance from the
Huron.
• Hardware Specifications, provides a set of tables outlining
the hardware present in the Huron.
• Managing Audio Signal Levels, examines the effective use
of the VRack, IO Manager and equipment external to the
Huron, in order to obtain the optimal audio performance
from the system.
• The Glossary, contains a list of common words and
acronyms found throughout this manual.
