Altering the XYZ Balance ↓ To alter the XYZ Balance levels of the inputs Altering the Azimuth Azimuth can be defined as the facing to an object on a horizontal plane. Values start at 0.00 for forward and increase as the object is further to the left, up to 360.00 ↓ To alter the Azimuth of the inputs Altering the Elevation ↓ To alter the Elevation of the inputs Viewing BFormat Mixer Metering ↓ To view the BFormat Mixers metering OTHER TOOLS The XYZ balance in the BFormat mixer represents the gain for the XYZ portions of the BFormat signals. 1. Select either the input 1 or input 2 XYZ Balance box. 2. Type the new XYZ balance value in dB (this number must be negative). 3. Click Apply. The Azimuth of a BFormat signal represents the direction a sound appears to be coming from on a horizontal plane. 1. Select either the input 1 or input 2 Azimuth level box. 2. Type the new azimuth value. 3. Click Apply. The elevation of a BFormat signal represents the apparent vertical angle from which the sound comes. 1. Select either the input 1 or input 2 Elevation box. 2. Type the new elevation value. 3. Click Apply. The BFormat Mixer provides metering for the inputs and outputs of the BFormat Mixer. • Click Meters. The BFormat meters window will appear. HURON TECHNICAL MANUAL PAGE 282
