Wingen Windows Interface ↓ To start Wingen Simwin — Wingen Tool The window function generator, supports a number of different window functions with various mainlobe and sidelobe trade offs. It can create these window functions in any of the formats supported by the SIM file format. It will also support two dimensional window functions. The windows supported are: • Uniform (rectangle). • Bartlett (triangle). • Von Hann. • Hamming. • Blackman. • Harris. • Blackman-Harris. Wingen generates windows functions in which the peaks of the function are situated at the beginning and end of the sequence. This means the function decays to zero in the centre of the vector. If it is necessary to place the peak in the centre of the function, use the Shift option in Wingen. The window functions that Wingen can produce are detailed in the Frequency Responses for Window Functions — SimTools Appendix 1 sub-section of the SIM Tools. • Select Windows Generator on the Simwin function menu. —or— Click .
