program
Note: The Convolver will only accept
SIM files which are stored as 24 bit
binary data.
THE ENGINEERING TOOLS
A dialogue box appears (see Figure 54) in which the name of
the program can be entered.

2. Type the name of the new program.
3. Click OK.
The program name will be displayed in the Program List box.
Once a program has been created the Convolver will expand to
show the Filter program list. The Filter program list
represents the Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters associated
with each Program. Additionally, the Filter program list allows
the outputs of a program to be mixed independently of any
other program.
1. Click Add in the Filter program.
The FIR filter selection window will appear. Each FIR is stored
in the Simulation (*.SIM) file format.
2. Select or type the name of a FIR filter / SIM file.
Information about the selected file is presented beneath the
selection list box (see Figure 55).
If a Plot has been specified in the header of the Sim file, it can
be accessed by Clicking on Plot.
3. Click OK.
