OTHER SIMULATION TOOLS in long lWaveID The waveID that you want to assign to this wave. If the waveID is already taken by another wave, that wave has the ID removed from it. A single wave can be assigned multiple waveIDs. It is removed from the WavePlayer’s memory when its last ID is removed. in const char* szPath Full path of a SIM file SNAPUpdateVoice After the waves have been loaded it is necessary to assign them to a voice in order to play the wave. To do this send the SNAPUpdateVoice command. Command Reference This section describes commands that can be used for controlling the Huron. Remote control of the Huron is normally performed using SNAP and the Socket application. SNAP supersedes the Huron LakeNet interface for sending Huron control messages via TCP/IP. Please refer to the SNAP section for further information on SNAP commands. LakeNet documentation can be found in PDF format on the Huron VRack CDROM. For control of Huron applications using Windows Messaging, please refer to the LakeBus documentation that can be found in PDF format on the Huron VRack CDROM. This section provides information about scripting commands that can be used by Locator and Sonic Animator. These programs parse a script and translate ASCII commands into commands that can be interpreted by the Huron. Both applications can be run locally on the Huron, or on a remote machine when used in combination with the Socket application. HURON TECHNICAL MANUAL PAGE 177
