PA SmartMsg<br />
<strong>Federal</strong> <strong>Commander</strong> <strong>Digital</strong> <strong>System</strong><br />
„PA SmartMsg‟ and „PA Wave File‟ are special functions for streaming audio to the RTU as public<br />
address. „PA SmartMsg‟ converts the SmartMsg text to audio using text to speech (TTS). „PA<br />
Wave File‟ plays a previously recorded wav file. When „PA Wave File‟ is selected the Windows®<br />
browse dialog will appear. The selected filename will appear below the Function setting:<br />
„PA Wave File‟ and „PA Smartmsg‟ only function on channels programmed for Codespear mode<br />
or Modem mode using the <strong>Federal</strong> <strong>Signal</strong> MSK Modem (2005249). Do not use these functions on<br />
channels programmed for SS2000. When using Modem mode with the MSK Modem, program #1<br />
of the UltraVoice must be programmed as:<br />

Auto-Poll after Activation<br />
If this check box is checked, <strong>SFCD</strong>WARE will poll each site after sending the activation<br />
command.<br />
Repeat All Call 3 times<br />
Check this option to enable all call repeats. The delay between repeats is configured using the<br />
“Retry Delay” parameter on the <strong>System</strong> setup screen. Note: This setting overrides the “Repeat<br />
All Call 3 times” setting on the <strong>System</strong> setup screen.<br />
