DTMF (optional)<br />

<strong>Federal</strong> <strong>Commander</strong> <strong>Digital</strong> <strong>System</strong><br />

If this is a DTMF type code, enter the DTMF digits for this function here. Acceptable DTMF digits<br />

are: 0-9, A, B, C, D, *, #. Note: The DTMF selection is only applicable on systems that use DTMF<br />

signaling.<br />

Duotone (optional)<br />

If this is a tone type code, enter the A Tone and B Tone frequencies for this function here. The<br />

acceptable frequency range is 280-3000 Hz. Note: The duotone selection is only applicable on<br />

systems that use duotone signaling.<br />

EAS Event (optional)<br />

For units using EAS/SAME decoding, allows an EAS Event (EEE) code to be associated with this<br />

activation function. For EAS activation, the following two conditions must be valid:<br />

1. The location code of the transmitted EAS message matches one of the three<br />

programmed location codes (see Config RTU).<br />

2. The EVENT code of the transmitted EAS message matches an event code assigned to<br />

an activation code.<br />

Note: EAS and Duotone activation is mutually exclusive. For EAS activation to be functional, the<br />

Duotone Timing parameters (A-Time, B-Time, S-Time) must be set to zero.<br />

Function<br />

Two list boxes handle setting up the function sequence. The Function Select box contains a list<br />

of available functions. To add a function highlight the desired function and click the Add->><br />

button. The new function will be inserted after the selected (highlighted) item in the Function box.<br />

Functions will be executed in sequence and in the order they appear in the list. To remove a<br />

function highlight the desired function and click the Remove button. Click Remove All to remove<br />

all functions.<br />

Arm and Function timers<br />

All sounding functions and relays outputs will automatically turn off when the RTU becomes<br />

disarmed. Upon reception of the ARM function the RTU will remain armed for 255 seconds. The<br />

disarm timer is halted during sounding functions and resumes during the DELAY function or at<br />

the end of the function sequence. It is good practice to start each function sequence with an<br />

ARM and end with a DISARM.<br />

Each individual function is limited to 255 seconds duration.<br />
