Introduction<br />
<strong>Federal</strong> <strong>Commander</strong> <strong>Digital</strong> <strong>System</strong><br />
The SmartMsg feature allows <strong>SFCD</strong>WARE to send SmartMessages on the Codespear platform.<br />
SmartMessages may be configured to be sent for the following events:<br />
1. When an entry is added to the <strong>System</strong> Log<br />
2. An activation hotkey is pressed<br />
3. Manual Activation<br />
4. Manually (File menu or Send SmartMsg button on activation screen)<br />
SmartMsg Setup Dialog<br />
The SmartMsg Setup dialog is used to configure the SmartMsg connection parameters and<br />
<strong>System</strong> Log filter.<br />
Note: The Codespear Server Name or IP Address must be entered on the <strong>System</strong> Setup screen<br />
before programming SmartMsg Setup. SmartMsg will not function if a valid Server Name is not<br />
configured.<br />

Enter the username and password <strong>SFCD</strong>WARE will use when sending Smart Messages.<br />
When making changes to the Username or Password fields, click Save and reopen the<br />
SmartMsg Setup dialog before making additional changes to the SmartMsg Setup.<br />
