Editors. The m<strong>an</strong>uscripts submitted should provide original <strong>an</strong>d/or<br />

innovative ideas or approaches or findings that eventually push the<br />

frontiers of knowledge. Purely descriptive accounts are not considered<br />

suitable for th<strong>is</strong> section. Each paper should have the following structure:<br />

a) abstract, b) introduction (including <strong>an</strong> overall presentation of the <strong>is</strong>sue<br />

to be examined <strong>an</strong>d the aims <strong>an</strong>d objectives of the paper), c) main body<br />

(including, where appropriate, the review of literature, the development of<br />

hypotheses <strong>an</strong>d/or models, research methodology, presentation of<br />

findings, <strong>an</strong>d <strong>an</strong>alys<strong>is</strong> <strong>an</strong>d d<strong>is</strong>cussion), d) conclusions (including also,<br />

where appropriate, recommendations, practical implications, limitations,<br />

<strong>an</strong>d suggestions for further research), e) bibliography, f)<br />

acknowledgements, <strong>an</strong>d g) appendices.<br />

Case Studies<br />

Case Studies should be not longer th<strong>an</strong> 3500 words <strong>an</strong>d not shorter th<strong>an</strong><br />

2500; these articles should be focusing on the detailed <strong>an</strong>d critical<br />

presentation/review of real-life cases from the greater tour<strong>is</strong>m sector, <strong>an</strong>d<br />

must include - where appropriate - relev<strong>an</strong>t references <strong>an</strong>d bibliography.<br />

Case Studies should aim at d<strong>is</strong>seminating information <strong>an</strong>d/or good<br />

practices, combined with critical <strong>an</strong>alys<strong>is</strong> of real examples. Purely<br />

descriptive accounts may be considered suitable for th<strong>is</strong> section, provided<br />

that are well-justified <strong>an</strong>d of interest to the readers of <strong>TOURISMOS</strong>. Each<br />

article will be taken un<strong>an</strong>imously by the Editor <strong>an</strong>d by the Associate<br />

Editor.<br />

Research Notes<br />

Research Notes should be not longer th<strong>an</strong> 2000 words <strong>an</strong>d not shorter<br />

th<strong>an</strong> 1000; these papers may be either empirical or conceptual, <strong>an</strong>d will be<br />

subject to blind <strong>peer</strong> review (by at least two <strong>an</strong>onymous referees). The<br />

dec<strong>is</strong>ion for the final accept<strong>an</strong>ce of the paper will be taken un<strong>an</strong>imously<br />

by the Editor <strong>an</strong>d by the Associate Editors. The m<strong>an</strong>uscripts submitted<br />

may present research-in-progress or my focus on the conceptual<br />
