3 KEY RESOLUTIONS AND ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN
The key resolutions taken by the PMC and the actions to be taken with immediate effect are as
follows:
a) The PSDF project is on schedule as per the Service Level Agreement.
b) Volume 2 is materially adequate for submission to the Project Steering Committee subject
to the amendments to be made as summarised in the table above.
c) The amendments will be made and the amended document (entitled Consultative Draft 2
of Volume 2) will be loaded onto the website by 24 November 2011.
d) Subject to the amendments made the PMC recommends that the PMC approve
Consultative Draft 2 of Volume 2 at the meeting to be held on 29 November 2011.
e) Committee members are to submit any additional comment to the service provider by
Friday 11 November 2011.
f) The proposal of the service provider that Volume 2 should be seen as ‘work in progress’ to
be completed together with Volumes 3 and 4 is adopted.
g) Proposals relating to the amendment of the SDF guidelines will be articulated and
submitted to DRDLR on an ongoing basis.
h) Service provider is to submit minutes and response on comments received to DRDLR by 24
November 2011.
i) Ms. S. Benade of DEDAT is to liaise with and submit outstanding information to the service
provider in accordance with a schedule to be determined by the two parties.
j) The settlement study needs to be studied and scrutinized on its own.
k) A meeting is to be held with the Proffs Izak van der Merwe and Larry Zietsmann to discuss
key aspects of the Settlement Study report. Mr. H. Louw will arrange and facilitate such
meeting.
l) MR. Gerhard de Bruin will determine the date of the PMC and will make the necessary
arrangements.
