<strong>iRemit</strong>, Incorporated (<strong>iRemit</strong>), the largest non-bank remittance company continues to<br />
expand and strengthen its business by entering in a service agreement <strong>with</strong> the Philippine<br />
National Bank (<strong>PNB</strong>) to better meet the needs of Filipinos abroad. This strategic tie-up <strong>with</strong><br />
one of the largest banking institutions in the Philippines will allow <strong>iRemit</strong> to further carry out<br />
remittance collection services <strong>for</strong> overseas Filipino workers to their beneficiaries back home.<br />
“We place high priority in strengthening our marketing, and in expanding our disbursement<br />
channels both locally and internationally, in line <strong>with</strong> our growth strategy,” explained Harris<br />
Jacildo, president and COO of <strong>iRemit</strong>, Inc.<br />
Under the agreement, <strong>iRemit</strong> will utilize <strong>PNB</strong>’s extensive branch network to distribute funds<br />
remitted by its customers overseas to their beneficiaries in the Philippines. The Bank’s wide<br />
geographical reach and special OFW lanes in its branches guarantee superior accessibility and<br />
quality service to customers.<br />
“By adding Philippine National Bank to our remittance distribution plat<strong>for</strong>m, we are bringing<br />
a higher level of true convenience <strong>for</strong> our customers because of the bank’s extensive number<br />
of outlets nationwide,” said Jacildo.<br />
To date, <strong>PNB</strong> remains as one of the largest banks in the country <strong>with</strong> its 324 branches located<br />
nationwide. It provides a complete range of banking products and services that address the<br />
diverse needs of its clientele, which includes more than 2 million depositors.<br />
This collaboration <strong>with</strong> <strong>PNB</strong> is consistent <strong>with</strong> <strong>iRemit</strong>’s mission of maintaining long-term<br />
customer relationships by providing value <strong>for</strong> money, and quality products and services.<br />
