The general perinatal mortality rate for that time was 16.5/1000 (4 stillborn: 10 early neonatal deaths) . 1 of the mothers who had a stillborn baby due to placental abruption was seen one day before delivery with a normal auscultation. None had abnormal routine fetal heart auscultation.
