- Anti-CMV IgG (1043 women
were screened)
- Anti-rubella IgG (1268 women
were screened)
- HbsAg (1278 women were
screened)
- Anti-HIV IgG (1057 women
were screened)
- Rapid Plasma reagent (RPR/
1277 women were screened)
- Anti-Toxoplasma IgG (1340
women were screened)
All patients clinically suspected by
the sentinel general practitioners of
having acute viral hepatitis were
recorded
Estimation of the
annual incidence of
laboratory confirmed
symptomatic acute

age 18 and 50% at
