The Filmmaker’s Guide to Final Cut Pro Workfl ow
• Dolby LCRS was encoded to DA88 tape.
• The mix was remixed to 5.1 at Sunset Screening Room.
• Dolby 5.1 was encoded to DA88 tape.
• Audio from the DA88s was recorded to optical fi lm at NT audio.
• A second answer print was printed with sound and screened.
• Final color corrections were made and a third answer print made.
• Three release prints were made.
• An off-line sequence was made with media manager in Final Cut Pro.
• Titles and effects were telecined to HD Cam at Match Frame Video.
• The original HD Cam tapes and the HD Cam of the opticals were taken to Match Frame Video
for HD online.
• The HD online and color correction was preformed at Match Frame Video.
• HD and SD QuickTimes were exported for HD and SD compression and DVD authoring.
