Field Description<br />

Environment information<br />

Specify the following default information for the environment.<br />

Environments<br />

Special environment Displays the special environment type for the environment. Pertains to the<br />

installed CASE tools specified in System Control. The value updates<br />

based on the third party product details in Work with Environments options<br />

10=AllFusion 2E, 11=AS/SET, 12=LANSA, or 16=PeopleSoft World.<br />

Standard: Not a special environment. This is the default value.<br />

ALLFusion: AllFusion 2E special environment.<br />

AS/SET: AS/SET special environment.<br />

LANSA: LANSA special environment.<br />

PeopleSoft: PeopleSoft World special environment.<br />

You can change a special environment to different special environment<br />

type by first removing the special environment details to establish it as a<br />

standard environment. For details, see “Third Party Integration<br />

Prerequisites” on page 107, and “Third Party Integrations” on page 303.<br />

Specify if an issue (<strong>MKS</strong> Integrity installed) or a design request<br />

(DesignTracker installed) is required to check out an item from this<br />

environment. Applies only to traditional *PRD environments and<br />

AllFusion 2E *TST environments.<br />

Y: Issue (or DR) is required.<br />

N: Issue (or DR) is not required. This is the default value.<br />

Specify if a project reference is required to check out a member/object from<br />

this environment.<br />

Y: Project reference is required.<br />

N: Project reference is not required. This is the default value. It is the<br />

required value for *TST environments.<br />

Specify whether to retain the job log in the <strong>Implementer</strong> database for any<br />

job processed for this environment.<br />

Y: Retains job logs.<br />

N: Deletes job logs when the related job completes normally. Retains<br />

the job log if a job terminates abnormally to assist with resolution<br />

Specify whether to delete objects and source from the environment<br />

libraries after successful promotion from this environment (must be a local<br />

*TST or *QAC environment). The value defined here is the default value for<br />

the corresponding fields in Create Request. For details, see “Removing<br />

Source and Objects After Promotion” on page 92.<br />

1=always: Automatically deletes objects and/or source. This is the<br />

default value.<br />

2=never: Retains objects and/or source.<br />

3=per obj code: Validates each object code to the environment’s object<br />

code overrides.<br />
