Specify whether to automatically delete source in the from library after<br />

successful promotion.<br />

Y: Deletes source after promotion. This is the default value.<br />

N: Retains source after promotion. Authority to override this default<br />

when creating a request is defined in the User Controls fields on the<br />

previous panel.<br />

Users<br />

Specify the default check out method: one step or traditional. The one<br />

step method processes the check out transparent to the user. The<br />

traditional method requires more steps and processing of the Check Out<br />

panel. For details, see the <strong>MKS</strong> <strong>Implementer</strong> <strong>2006</strong> User <strong>Guide</strong>.<br />

Y: Enables one step checkout. This is the default value.<br />

N: Enables traditional checkout.<br />

Specify the default promotion method: one step or traditional. The one<br />

step method performs promotion processing transparent to the user. The<br />

traditional method requires more steps and processing of the Create<br />

Request panel. For details, see the <strong>MKS</strong> <strong>Implementer</strong> <strong>2006</strong> User <strong>Guide</strong>.<br />

Conflict msg queue Specify a message queue to receive a message notify when a check out<br />

causes a conflict with a lock for this user (when a member/object checked<br />

out by this user is concurrently checked out by another user). The<br />

developer is notified that concurrent development is in process—a conflict<br />

with their lock now exists and must be resolved before promoting the lock.<br />

Useful for a group profile to ensure all messages are observed.<br />

Specify *USRPRF to default the message queue from the users OS/400<br />

user profile, or specify the name of an existing message queue.<br />

Library Specify the library containing the user’s message queue.<br />

Issue Management<br />

System<br />

Create User Profile Field Descriptions: Panel 2<br />

Specify the current issue management system for this user. Only used<br />

when co-existing to allow certain users to use <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity while others<br />

use DesignTracker.<br />

1=Default: The user uses the default issue management system.<br />

2=DesignTracker: When the default issue management system is<br />

<strong>MKS</strong> Integrity, allows the user to temporarily use DesignTracker.<br />
