Convert DT to MKS Integrity (ICVTDT) Command Parameters
Conversion mode
Specify whether to run the conversion in edit mode or conversion mode as follows:
*EDIT Validates the conversion setup as defined in the implementerconversion.properties
file. Does not convert DRs or SRs.
Creates initial prototype implementer-conversion.properties file
populated with the default values of all master data currently defined in
the DesignTracker setup. The resulting file may be large depending on
the volume of data. Use this file to map existing DesignTracker fields to
the corresponding MKS Integrity fields.
If you have made significant changes to your setup since creating the
initial conversion properties file, delete or rename the file and generate a
new one.
*CONVERT Validates the conversion setup as with the *EDIT parameter, and if the
configuration file is valid, converts DRs and SRs to issues.
Type to convert
Specify the type of DesignTracker requests to convert.
Default create user
IMPORTANT The first time you issue this command, specify the *EDIT
parameter value to generate an initial conversion properties file. This file
contains data from your existing setup and must be generated to validate your
conversion setup and data mapping. You may have to do this multiple times
until the expected results are achieved. Rerun the ICVTDT command with the
*EDIT value until the log file is error free. When you are satisfied with the edit
results, you are ready to convert DRs and SRs by issuing the command using
the *CONVERT parameter value.
*BOTH Converts both DRs and SRs.
*DR Converts DRs only.
*SR Converts SRs only.
Specify an Implementer user profile name to assign as the Created by user for issues and
change packages when a user associated with a DR, SR, or DR entity cannot be assigned, for
example, if a user profile no longer exists or a user is not enrolled in MKS Integrity.
The default name specified here must be set up in Implementer as an MKS Integrity user and
enrolled in MKS Integrity.
