Field Description
Auto vary on Specify whether to vary on the communications line, controller, and
device before remote processing begins.
Auto vary off Specify whether to vary off the communications line, controller, and
device after remote processing completes.
Remote wait time Specify the number of minutes the remote program waits before
attempting to receive a network file (promotion request).
Remote no. of retries Specify the number of times the remote program attempts to receive a
network file. Each retry attempt waits for the number of minutes specified
in the Remote Wait Time field. If the network file is not received after this
number of retries, request processing ends and the request status is set
to the appropriate failed status: Comp-fail, Dist-fail, or Move-fail.
