Field Description
Remote network

Press PAGE DOWN to access the second Network Configuration Maintenance panel.
Remote Production
Specify the name of the remote network where the location resides
(usually *NETATR).
Name: Enter the specific name of the remote network.
*NETATR: Name is taken from the network attributes.
*LOC: System automatically selects the remote network ID.
*NONE: Non remote network ID is used.
SNADS user ID Specify the SNADS user ID used to send network files to the specified
system. This is typically user profile MWIPROD. Use this ID only if you
distribute to the remote via SNADS (determined by the distribution method
defined for the environment in Work with Environments).
SNADS user address Specify the SNADS user address used to send network files to the
specified system. This is the remote system name.
Name: Address used when enrolling user in SNADS directory entry.
*SYSTEM: System name used for the address listed above (current
system name).
Field Description
Switched line Specify Y or N whether the communications line is a switched line.
Switched line name Specify the name of the switched line (required to auto vary on and auto
vary off the line).
Control unit name Specify the name of the control unit associated with the line to this
system.
