5 From Windows Explorer, select and expand the drive you just mapped.<br />

6 Double click capwiz.exe.<br />

7 Follow the installation instructions presented on the screens. When you complete the<br />

installation, you can begin using the Capability Wizard.<br />

To install the Capability Wizard using the FTP method<br />

1 At a command prompt, type FTP and press ENTER to display an ftp> prompt.<br />

2 Type OPEN your_system_name and press ENTER. A message confirms, "Connected to<br />

your_system_name".<br />

3 A prompt displays requesting a user. Type a valid user ID for the system you opened in<br />

step 2, and press ENTER.<br />

4 A prompt displays requesting the password for the user ID specified in step 3. Type the<br />

password and press ENTER.<br />

5 Type bin and press ENTER. A message confirms "Representation type is binary<br />

IMAGE".<br />

6 Type quote site namefmt 1 and press ENTER. A message confirms you are using<br />

naming format "1".<br />

7 Type cd /<strong>MKS</strong>/<strong>Implementer</strong>/<strong>MKS</strong>IM and press ENTER. A message confirms, "Current<br />

directory changed to /mks/<strong>Implementer</strong>/<strong>MKS</strong>IM".<br />

NOTE The default product library name is <strong>MKS</strong>IM. If you changed the product<br />

library to another name, substitute the changed name for <strong>MKS</strong>IM.<br />

8 Type lcd c:/temp and press ENTER. A message confirms, "Local directory now<br />

c:/temp". (You may need to create this directory if it does not exist.)<br />

9 Type get capwiz.exe and press ENTER. The self-extracting installation executable<br />

transfers to your PC into directory c:/temp.<br />

10 Type quit and press ENTER to display the c:/ prompt.<br />

11 Type cd c:/temp and press ENTER.<br />

12 Type capwiz.exe and press ENTER.<br />

13 Follow the installation instructions presented on the screens. When you complete the<br />

installation, you can begin using the Capability Wizard.<br />

Using the Capability Wizard<br />

The Capability Wizard allows you to authorize <strong>Implementer</strong> users to perform specific<br />

functions in the environments they work with.
