MKS Implementer 2006 Administration Guide

WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Integration
This guide assumes you know how to use WebSphere Studio Site Developer and
WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries. For information on using either
product, refer to the appropriate IBM product documentation or online help.
Implementer Requirements
Install and configure Implementer 2006. For information on installing Implementer, see
the MKS Implementer 2006 Installation Guide.
Install Implementer plug-in version 5.7.x or later for use with WDSc 6.
Implementer also provides plug-in version 5.6.x for use with WDSc 5. Integration with
the MKS Integrity worktray plug-in requires Implementer plug-in version 5.6.1 or later.

Each Implementer production environment used for check out or promotion must have
a development path defined. The paths may have been set up when Implementer was
initially configured, verify they exist. Environment paths are defined in Implementer
Menu option 42, Environments. For details, see “Environments” on page 81.
To ensure check out occurs to a development library when using personal development
libraries, any applicable environments must have *USRPRF as the development location
in the environment path. For more information, see the MKS Implementer 2006 User
Guide.
Integration with MKS Integrity and the MKS Integrity® Worktray Plug-in for Eclipse
requires installing and configuring MKS Integrity 2006 or later.
