Install the MKSUtility.nsf database (provided with Implementer) into the Domino
Server directory of your choice (based on your Lotus Domino configuration). This is the
Domino agent signing application.
The utility database installs into the standard root IFS space on your iSeries when you
install or upgrade Implementer. The default installation location is:
/MKS/Implementer/product_library/Domino/MKSUtility.nsf
Ensure the MKSUtility.nsf database is signed by a user that has privileges to Run
Unrestricted Methods and Operations on the server where database signing occurs.
Apply any necessary ACLs to the database as needed.
CAUTION Future upgrades of Implementer require you recopy the database, re-sign
the database, and re-apply any other changes, for example, ACLs.
Configure the Domino Server to have the Domino Web Engine use Session
Authentication with either Single Server or Multiple Servers.
Implementer Setup
The setup tasks in Implementer include the following:
Define the Domino server URL and Domino users in Implementer.
Define a special command for each Lotus Domino environment that manages the
databases and templates to be signed. Define the ISGNDOMDB command within the
Implementer special command processor IEXCRQSDTL at the environment level, to run
for any promotion action except the delete action.
To define the Domino Server URL and Domino users
NOTE This task requires an Implementer user profile that has authority to maintain
System Control Maintenance.
1 From the Implementer Menu, type 45, System Control Maintenance, and press ENTER.
2 Press PAGE DOWN twice to access the third System Control Maintenance panel.
