AS/SET Integration
Use object codes with the following special characteristics for AS/SET definitions.
Object Code Description
If you need different object codes, they must have special characteristics beginning with
ADK. Create the object codes as non source and non object based.
NOTE
Setting Up for Archiving
ADKDSP AS/SET display program definition.
ADKBAT AS/SET batch program definition.
ADKRPT AS/SET report program definition.
ADKMDL AS/SET data model.
ADKLLD AS/SET field definition.
ADKFIL AS/SET file definition.
ADKAUD AS/SET audit trail definition.
ADKSUB AS/SET action subroutine definition.
You can promote AS/SET definitions to an environment group. You must define
the primary environment as an AS/SET environment. If non AS/SET
environments exist in the group, the AS/SET definitions are not promoted to
these environments, although the promotion of both AS/SET definitions and the
generated objects occurs to the AS/SET environments in the group.
When you run the Build List for AS/SET environments, the member/object list
includes both traditional objects and AS/SET definitions that exist in the
application set specified for the environment.
After defining an AS/SET environment (a standard environment associated with an AS/SET
application set) perform the following task to enable archiving for AS/SET definitions.
To set up for AS/SET archiving
1 In the Archive version fields on the Change Environment panel, specify the number of
levels (versions) to retain for archiving. You must also specify the archive library name
and number of versions for traditional objects.
2 In the Work with Environments panel, type 11=AS/SET, and press ENTER. The Create
Environment panel displays.
3 In the Archive application set field, type the name of the archive application set, and
press ENTER.
