Chapter 6: Third Party Integrations
When creating a promotion request, Implementer recognizes these SQL types of generated
objects and assigns the appropriate object code when determining the implementation
objects to add to the promotion request.
This feature capitalizes on the SQL-specific object codes delivered with Implementer. Verify
your setup with the YSQLPF (tables), YSQLLF (indices and views), and SQL program types
(RPGSQL and CBLSQL) as described in the following sections.
Managing SQL Files, Indices, and Views
Implementer provides the YSQLPF and YSQLLF objects codes to manage AllFusion 2E SQL
files, indices, and views. In an AllFusion 2E model, these items have different model object
attributes, but share the same:
source member type (YSQL)
source file (QSQLSRC)
creation command (YEXCSQL)
When generating YFIL model objects as SQL, Implementer uses the object code YSQLPF for
the associated implementation object. When generating YACP model objects as SQL,
Implementer uses the object code YSQLLF for the associated implementation object. Thus,
verify the YSQLPF and YSQLLF object codes are defined as follows, and that they are active
to each applicable AllFusion 2E environment.
NOTE You must define the parameter sequences of the creation commands as
shown to avoid extraneous messages in your job log.
