Chapter 5: MKS Integrity Integration 300 to identify the name of the custom field you created in MKS Integrity that will contain the build number (the field used to find all related issues for the export process). This is a required property if you are using MKS Integrity with the Export to Implementer feature. NOTE The IUPDCI command feature requires additional configuration. For details, see “Updating Issues Based on Promotion Status” on page 240. The DT Call Association Properties are used for the features described in “Help Desk Integration” on page 324. Some DesignTracker properties relate to obsolete functionality that is in the process of deprecation. Thus, the only DesignTracker properties you need to configure are those described in this guide. To authorize the user profile to the Implementer file Issue the following OS/400 command: GRTOBJAUT OBJ(MKSIM/IMCICT) OBJTYPE(*FILE) USER(DTUSER) AUT(*CHANGE) To start DTBridge Console and configure the DTBridge properties file 1 Click Start > Programs > MKS Implementer > DTBridge Console. The DTBridge Console window displays. Notice the Status bar indicates DTBridge is currently not active. 2 Click File > Setup from the menu. The Edit DTBridge Setup properties file displays. Instructions and example properties are included within the file. The properties file is organized by functional area. The beginning of each section lists the properties with a brief description and an example. At the end of each section, the property displays again as property name=x. When defining the property value, type the value as follows: property name=property value 3 Use the following tables to define the properties respective to the functionality you are setting up. 4 When you are finished, click File > Save Setup. IMPORTANT The following tables define the applicable properties in the DTBridge file. When defining the OS/400 values, you must use upper case syntax.
General Properties Description Logging level to use when application is run DTBridge General Properties Export to Implementer 0 = Basic logging only. Messages include the DR number and MKS Integrity issue number relationship, and verification that the DR was created. 1 = Detailed Logging. Messages include the DR number, related text and description information, and the DR and MKS Integrity issue number relationship. This information is useful for diagnostic and support purposes. Log JDBC 0 = No. No logging. This is the default value. 1 = Yes. Generates a detailed log of all JDBC connection messages. (JDBC is the Java form of ODBC, and is the communication method between DTBridge and multi-platform databases.) This information is useful for diagnostic and support purposes, for example, if you have a problem connecting to DTBridge. Issue Source Product to derive issues from. Specify CI if you are using MKS Integrity. DesignTracker Properties Description DesignTracker Properties DTSystemName Name of the iSeries system where DesignTracker is installed. DTLibrary Name of the DesignTracker installed library. The default product library is MKSIM. DTUser Name of the DesignTracker user that has authority to the library defined in the DTLibrary property. DTPassword Password associated with the DTUser property. MKS Integrity Properties Description MKS Integrity Properties CIServerName Full name of the server that is running the Integrity Server to connect with. A value is required. CIPort Port number to use to communicate with the Integrity Server defined in the CIServerName property. The default is 9001. A value is required. CIUserName Name of the user to connect to the Integrity Server. A value is required. CIUserPassword Password associated with the CIUserName property. A value is required. CIBuildNumberField Name of a custom MKS Integrity field to contain the Build Number. A value is required if using the Export to Implementer feature. Create the custom field as a Short Text field with a maximum length of 30. 301
