Requirements
The following is required to use this feature:
Export to Implementer
Complete the setup tasks described in “Implementer and MKS Integrity Integration” on
page 196.
Download, install, and configure DTBridge. DT Bridge requires:
TCP/IP connection to the iSeries system where Implementer is installed.
Implementer 2006 or later.
Windows 2000 Professional or later.
For product and component compatibility, the DTBridge version must match the
MKS Integrity version requirements as described in the following table.
DTBridge is delivered with Implementer; however, the DTBridge version does not need
to match the Implementer version. If DTBridge is currently installed, you can verify the
current version by starting the DTBridge Console, and from the DTBridge toolbar click
Help > About.
Installing DTBridge
The tasks involved with downloading and installing DTBridge are as follows:
Verify the TCP/IP connection.
MKS Integrity Version DTBridge Release
2006 2006
2005 2005
Download and install the self-extracting installation program dtbridge.exe.
DTBridge requires an active TCP/IP connection to the iSeries where Implementer is installed.
If you cannot communicate with the iSeries server successfully, DTBridge will not properly
connect to process the database changes.
PING is an MS-DOS program that allows you to verify that a particular Internet Protocol (IP)
address exists and can accept requests. PING is used diagnostically to verify that a host
computer you are trying to reach has communications enabled and operational. To verify
your TCP/IP connection, you can either ping the system or ping the iSeries servers (requires
ClientAccess installed on the local PC), as described next. If ping is unsuccessful, contact your
system administrator.
To ping the system to verify the TCP/IP connection
