6 Proceed as follows:<br />

a) Optionally specify an existing <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity issue or press F4 to prompt the Select<br />

Issue panel. <strong>Implementer</strong> applies this issue to the items checked in during the<br />

population process.<br />

b) Specify the job queue parameters as needed, and press ENTER. This creates the<br />

environment project in <strong>MKS</strong> Source and submits a job to populate the environment<br />

based on the values you specify.<br />

If you are performing this step to re-enable an environment project that was previously<br />

archived, a message confirms the action and explains that any interim development<br />

performed while archiving was off causes interim gaps in the <strong>MKS</strong> Source archives.<br />

Because of this, the first revision of an item checked in to <strong>MKS</strong> Source after re-enabling<br />

may have changes that occurred in multiple promotions when the environment was not<br />

enabled, appearing as though they all occurred during the last promotion.<br />

During the environment population, on the Work with Product Version Environments<br />

panel, the Archived by <strong>MKS</strong> Source field shows the interim value I to indicate the<br />

environment population is in process. If you attempt to change the field value from I to<br />

N while the process is active, an error message notifies you of the active job and advises<br />

you wait for the job to complete. You also cannot change the field value from I to<br />

If the job does not complete successfully, for example, due to communication problems<br />

between <strong>Implementer</strong> and <strong>MKS</strong> Source, a message informs you of the problem and the<br />

job fails. After resolving the problem, on the Product Version Environment Maintenance
