Chapter 5: MKS Integrity Integration 266 NOTE To enable a policy option, select that option. For example, to require a revision description each time a member is checked in, select the Revision Description Required option. To lock any policy, click the lock box (on the left side) beside that policy. Locking a policy at the global level prevents any other project policy or client preference from overriding that policy. A check mark displays for all enabled policies. A lock symbol displays for all policies that are locked. Implementer and MKS Source Integration 9 From the menu, select ACL > Dev Path Inheritance to set the permission to enabled. When you have finished setting the policies, the expanded Global Policies should look similar to the following illustration (depending on other policies you may have defined). Creating and Setting an MKS Integrity ACL and Permission The integration with MKS Source requires the integration user configured in an integration group. MKS Source requires an ACL entry for internal processing. To configure the required MKS Integrity ACL 1 On the MKS Integrity Server, click Start MKS Authorization Administration. 2 Add the following required ACL entry: mks:impersonate:group: principle: Impersonate allowed IMPORTANT In this example, is a group that contains the integration user. Change this value to reflect the group name you created. To avoid compromising your security, use a group other than the everyone group; by default, all users are part of this group. 267
